RIA INSURANCE GROUP works exclusively with independent 1099 insurance agents. The relationship is not employment, and agents develop their own business activity.
Do I need an active license before applying?
Yes. You must have an active insurance license appropriate for the products you want to offer before submitting an application.
Can RIA INSURANCE GROUP guide me in obtaining a license?
We can provide general guidance, but you must confirm and complete official requirements with your state department of insurance. Apply for onboarding after obtaining the license.
In which states does RIA INSURANCE GROUP accept applications?

Which insurance lines may agents offer?
This depends on licensing, certification, contracts, and state availability. Specific opportunities are confirmed during the private onboarding process.
How does the application and appointment process work?
After you apply, our team reviews the information and communicates next steps. When applicable, the agent completes documents, certifications, and carrier appointment requests.
What training and support are available?
We provide a self-service portal with access links, training, resources, and contracted-carrier information, along with process and operational guidance. We may also assist an agent during a sale when help is needed.
Does RIA INSURANCE GROUP provide referrals (leads)?
No. The agency does not provide referrals (leads) as a general benefit. Each agent develops their own business and client relationships.
How do I request Agent Portal access?
First complete the Join Our Team form. RIA INSURANCE GROUP will contact you to review the information and explain next steps. After completing the applicable process, you will receive account activation and security instructions.
